Scottish Islands Peaks Race celebration dinner and ceildh The 2024 SIPR Awards dinner and ceilidh was held on 16 November at Arta in Glasgow. Finishers plaques and marshal glasses at the ready. Last year’s winner forgetting the trophy at home called for some creativity… William Bowers on Elixir of Lorn won the Fascinator Trophy for best race log. Sundance of Lorn wins the trophy for Best Battleflag. Again! Dipper picking up the Bill Tulloch Trophy Award for Sporting Endeavour. The first all fable team to complete SIPR in 19 years! Graham on Ptarmigan picking up 3rd place in the mixed pairs category on behalf of his runners Jasmin and Konrad. CJ and Iain on Storm Free picking up second place in the mixed pairs category. Cat and Lizzie on Dipper picking up 2nd place in the female pairs. Claire (and Morag, not present) on Marisca picking up first place in the Molls of Kintyre for female pairs. Gordon and Iain on Opportune picked up 3rd place in men’s pairs on behalf of their runners Ewan and Es.
