The next Scottish Islands Peaks Race will start at midday on Friday 17th May 2024. Entries are now open for this years race.

Please note that entry form should be completed in conjunction with the reading of the race rules. All competitors will be required to sign a disclaimer at Oban Registration, the contents of which can be found here for your prior information.

Please enter my team (five strong except for Youth Teams) for the Scottish Islands Peaks Race, which starts at midday on Friday 17th May 2024. We agree to abide by the rules and race instructions and will accept the decisions of any protest panel. We understand that there is an element of risk inherent in this type of event and will not hold the organisers, sponsors or officials responsible for loss injury or damage arising from the race. We understand that all members of the team will be asked to sign a final Disclaimer when we arrive at Registration agreeing to abide by the Race Rules, and that all runners have the necessary and specified mountain experience. The Runners Entry Form will be submitted by 15th April 2024.

The rules require vessels to be well equipped for serious cruising with VHF, flares, engines, etc. and to have sufficient third party insurance. The full rules can be read here and a printed set will also be provided to take on board. Entry fees are £400 per team, or £450 after 1 April 2024. Payment can be made by bank transfer (bank details will be sent to you), or by cheque (please make cheques payable to Scottish Islands Peaks Race and post to SIPR, 94 Howdenhall Drive, Edinburgh, EH16 6UP).

Withdrawal Policy – if you need to withdraw from the Race before Race Day, please let us know as soon as possible. If you are having difficulty finding replacement runners or crew we will try to help find replacements. The entry fee is not refundable or transferrable to the following year’s Race if teams withdraw within one calendar month of Race Day.
